In Autumn 2023 I had the wonderful opportunity to take part in one London’s Soho Theatre’s legendary Labs, working with incredible comedian and author Fran Bushe, plus guest tutors and a talented cohort of fellow comedians.

For the final showcase, our sketch group “Sorry We’re Beans” (John Chisham, Gavin Joseph, Nell and me) presented a very packed 15-minute set that included:

  • Pottery and Stag Dos

  • Knives Out levels of mystery and thrill

  • Spoken word poetry

  • Sock puppets

  • Of course, a musical number

It was rather magical how we vibed so perfectly.
